Slightly Stoopid is on "Top of the World"

Slightly Stoopid is back!  Back to my favorite style of Slightly that is...  After the release of Chronchitis (2007) and then Slightly Not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid (2008), I was beginning to worry about one of my favorite bands.  It seemed as though they were moving away from their classic Reggae style towards Blues/Rock.  And while it was still quality music, it just wasn't the Slightly Stoopid that I had grown accustomed to.

Well they just released Top of the World, and it looks like things are back to being like the good old days!  One of the biggest differences from the last two albums is the return of a strong horn presence. The horn section was one of my fondest memories of seeing them live, and it seemed like they had moved away from that aspect of their style.  The guest artists on this album are great additions as well. Barrington Levy, Don Carlos, G. Love and Chali 2na particularly kill it.

Trying to pick my favorite few tunes is impossible!  From start to finish, this album kills it.  It really is a new classic from an already proven, legendary Reggae band.
