Silly Walks Presents: "The Honey Pot Riddim"

Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, one of my favorite production groups, Silly Walks Discotheque, presents their brand new selection, The Honey Pot Riddim. When we talk about modern feel-good reggae, this is what we're talking about! Featuring the lyrical likings of solid artists such as Chronixx, Exco Levi, Lutan Fyah, Ginjah, Torch and more, this rhythm is sure to please any reggae fan. The Honey Pot Riddim follows up Silly Walks' compilation album, Storms of Life, released last May, which was nominated by Rudeboy as the best of 2012. For those of you familiar with the album (and if you're not, familiarize yourself with it ASAP), you'll recognize this riddim as the same production backing Torch's "Reggae Music" and Jah 9's, "Brothers."

I've come to really respect and appreciate Silly Walks' production work, and get super excited whenever they have new releases available. They no doubt continue to impress, so big ups to those guys, Oliver and Joscha!

Artists & tracks as they appear on the mix above:
Chronixx - Smile Jamaica
Ginjah - Sweet Killer
Da'Ville - One in a Million
Exco Levi and Kabaka Pyramid - Strive
Lutan Fyah - Lonesome Soldier
Torch - Good Reggae Music
